Materials Testing
Intec provides testing services to a wide range of customers, including product and raw material manufacturers, research organizations, and large OEMs. We have experience working with a variety of material types and projects, from a few specimens over a few days, to thousands of specimens spanning multiple years. We have the capability and flexibility to work with and evolve projects with customers who have non-standard needs or those who are performing research and don’t know exactly how their material with respond during testing.
The scope of our material testing capabilities includes:
- Test panel fabrication
- Specimen preparation (machining, bonding, environmental preconditioning, instrumentation)
- Thermal, physical, and chemical testing
- Impacting and ultrasonic NDT
- Static and fatigue mechanical testing from 5 lbf up to 600,000 lbf, including non-ambient temperatures
Structural and Non-Standard Testing
Intec has the capability and experience to develop test concepts for unique, high-load, and/or large-scale testing needs. We welcome the challenge to determine a cost-effective approach to support projects using our high-capacity test machines or “strongback” load platforms. Our dedicated Project Manager will collaborate with you to develop the test plan and design, analyze and manufacture test fixturing, as well as execute an iterative test procedure on your one-of-a-kind test article with hundreds of data channel
Customer Service
